Administrative Officer (Band E) (Customer Services Advisor) Justice Policy Group.
This is a Fixed Term appointment for a period of 6 months with the possibility to extend or convert to permanent,in line with business needs.
Good administration staff with excellent telephone and customer service skills are vital to the effective operation of the Customer Contact Centre and other departments within the Office of the Public Guardian and Ministry of Justice.
Administration Officers are assigned to the Customer Contact Centre to answer and support customers with their queries about Powers of Attorney and Deputyships. There will be some opportunity to exercise discretion and initiative within a framework of well-established systems and processes. Problem solving is carried out by reference to comprehensive guidelines and instructions – complex or difficult issues are normally referred to a team leader or duty manager. Administrative Officers work within a team with regular management support, although there may be some opportunity to provide advice and carry out limited supervision of others.
